What you would do as our Scrum Master/Software Team Lead

As our Scrum Master / Software Team Lead you would fill an important role within the R&D Team. You will guide, coach and motivate the team on how to use agile practices and principles with the goal of increasing productivity and delivering high quality products and services to our customers. Some of your key responsibilities would consist of: 

• Mentor and guide the software team
• Work with an agile cross-functional team of hardware engineers, application/UI software engineers and test automation
• Take a leading role in bringing in latest and greatest technology innovations
• Performing complex and detailed software architecture and design analysis leading to a scalable software solution
• Defining the software composition and components
• Defining the platform requirements in terms of OS configuration (Tasks, Interrupts, Memory Allocation) computing, interfaces, inter-process communication etc.
• Generate innovative technical solutions, lead and contribute to their development and implementation across different platforms
• Identify areas for improvement, provide technical guidance and be the key driver for their implementations
• Collaborate with other teams to enforce strong software architecture and design practices into the platform
• Participate in the development of our way of working

The position is full time and you will be part of an R&D team of eleven colleagues (7 in Sweden) and report to our R&D Manager. The divisional headquarters of ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is located a ten minutes’ walk from the train station in Landskrona. We are positive to a mix of remote and work on site.   

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone with an open and honest way of communicating and who is respectful towards others. In this role, you will have regular contact with colleagues from various international companies within the Pedestrian segment.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have: 

• Experience in embedded software, IoT, Test automation
• Experience with scrum development and as a scrum master
• Experience with an agile development process and tools as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Jira, CI/CD
• Desire and ability to work in a multi-tasking and highly dynamic environment
• 3 years of experience in the Scrum Master role for a software development team
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Product Owner (CSPO) is meriting
