Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions is looking for a newly graduated Junior Business Controller or someone with experience in Retail/FMCG. The Business Controller is part of the local finance and controlling team. You will be responsible for delivering meaningful, customer-focused and fact-based analyses to support the Management Team in steering the business and risk management. You will act as a liaison between the systems, processes and people to ensure a steady information flow for keeping up high data quality. You support the Nordic Consumer organization and form a team together with the Controlling colleagues of the other Nordic locations. 

Main tasks and responsibilities 

· Keep reporting systems up to date and adapt them to changes in processes and organization

· Provide management with meaningful regular and ad-hoc reports

· Analyze deviations from expected outcome, do root cause analysis and develop counter measures

· Maintain, run and analyze customer and product profitability - propose corrective actions for improvements

· Technology Business Management

· Account mapping

· Cost/Profit centre data management

· Contribute to local or corporate projects

· Prepare presentations for management 

The position is full-time and based at our Nordic office, situated in central Malmö. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and grow within an International Group, therefore you must be willing to relocate, in Sweden or global, after app. 2-3 years. You will report to our Manager of Finance & Controlling, Consumer Nordic and work in close cooperation with the Nordic Finance Team. 

Qualifications and Personal skills

You have just finished your degree or have a couple of years of relevant recent work experience within operative controlling. Relevant experience from Retail/FMCG is an advantage. You have a university degree (Master of Business Administration, Finance & Controlling or similar). You master English in both speech and writing (English is the official corporate language) and basic knowledge in Swedish is meritorious. You are an Excel expert and are used to MS Office. Know-how in SAP is a merit.  

You are analytical, a team player and a good communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You create lasting relationships, shows curiosity and are always looking for learning opportunities. You are also self-driven, able to work with low level leadership and find it easy to interact with all functions in the company.
